Summary
InterGenic aims to develop an educational framework for intergenerational learning to support the EU's digital and green transition.
The objectives are:
- improving the transfer of digital skills from young people to seniors,
- teaching sustainable practices by seniors to young people,
- proposing local solutions for this dual transition of sustainability and digitalisation.
InterGenic has 4 main types of actions:
- training youth mentors in digital skills,
- training senior mentors in sustainable practices,
- developing and testing common action for local solutions,
- bridging the gap between generations.
Expected output
- Development and implementation of two training packages (i.e. one for youth mentors and one for senior mentors), each accompanied by co-developed training packages.
- 7 intergenerational co-activities across Europe to support the dual transition of sustainability and digitisation
- Publication of an eBook with good examples
- Public awareness campaigns throughout the duration of the project
