Karel Deneckere
Short bio
In 2020, Karel obtained his PhD degree in communication sciences at the Free University of Brussels (VUB). Previously, he obtained a master's in communication sciences (VUB), a master after master in sustainable development and human ecology (VUB), as well as a licentiate in history (Ghent University).
As a researcher within CenSE, Karel strengthens the Competences of the Future expertise. He has research experience with complex social sustainability issues and is familiar with qualitative research methods (Discourse-theoretical analysis, critical discourse analysis, focus group interviews, in-depth interviews,...). He also has experience as a lecturer within higher education.
