Bart Henssen

Short bio

Bart Henssen holds two doctorates: one Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Hasselt University and another PhD in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. In addition, he holds the Executive Certificate in Strategy & Innovation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Currently, Bart Henssen is head of the Center for Sustainable Entrepreneurship (CenSE) at Odisee University of Applied Sciences and an affiliate researcher at the Center for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO) at Jönköping International Business School (Sweden). He also teaches Human Resources Management at Odisee Hogeschool and Sustainable Business Models at Vilnius University Business School (Lithuania).

SMEs and family businesses can turn to him for advice on sustainable business transformation, sustainable business models, sustainable business and top management team (TMT) processes, sustainable HRM, and creating employee support for change.
