Elien Crois

Short bio

Elien Crois is a researcher and coordinator of the expertise 'Competencies of the Future'. Her expertise and network relate to sustainability competencies, education and sustainable higher education and are situated at the interface between education, the profit and non-profit sectors.

She has experience with Erasmus+, ERDF and ESF projects and is currently working as coordinator of the Microcredentials Project (KU Leuven Association) and the Microcredential Systemic Transformation (i.c.w. ILVO).  Previously, she worked on Erasmus+ projects such as Stairway to SDG, Hecos for Ethics, the International Summer School Sustainable Management, the ERDF project Greenhouse and ESF projects e.g. 'Inclusive employer behaviour' and 'Employable IT experts'. For all these projects, she worked in close cooperation with the national and international field concerned and put her efforts into innovative educational methodologies.
