Korte bio

Philippe Eiselein is senior onderzoeker aan de Hogeschool Odisee en maakt deel uit van het wetenschappelijk onderzoekscentrum CenSE (Center for Sustainable Entrepreneurship).
Hij richt zich momenteel op (bedrijfs)duurzaamheidsprojecten, zoals sectoroverschrijdende partnerschappen voor circulaire economieën (samenwerkingsverbanden tussen overheden, de academische wereld, het bedrijfsleven en het maatschappelijk middenveld) en competenties voor toekomstige banen en markten. Zijn specialisaties draaien rond het sociaal ondernemerschap, en de circulaire economie.

Momenteel werkt hij op projecten rond sociaal innovatie competenties en curricula ontwikkeling. Daarnaast richtte hij zich op (bedrijfs)duurzaamheidsprojecten, zoals sectoroverschrijdende partnerschappen voor circulaire economieën, en competenties voor toekomstige banen en markten voor mensen uit de sociale economie.

Hij behaalde zijn doctoraat als handelsingenieur en is deeltijds professor sociaal ondernemerschap en corporate social responsbility aan de faculteit  Sociale Wetenschappen en Solvay Business School van de Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). Hij ondersteunde de VUB-leerstoel Sociaal Ondernemerschap meer dan 8 jaar als onderwijsassistent, coach en webmaster.

Bovendien heeft hij ervaring opgedaan in duurzaamheidsengagement en partnerschappen vanuit zijn rol als coördinator van Belgium Impact (2018-2021), het nationale platform dat meer dan 300 Belgische impactvolle sociale ondernemers ondersteunt. Het werd opgericht door Zijne Majesteit de Koning van België en had tot doel het Belgische ecosysteem van sociaal ondernemerschap verder te stimuleren en anderen te inspireren via een transdisciplinaire aanpak.
